At the annual Parents' Softball Classic Tournament, parents from Manhattan Beach schools team up to raise funds for MBX, benefiting  school athletic programs. Parents are grouped according to the local schools attended by their children and play in a friendly tournament that culminates in a dazzling championship game. The event is a unique and family-friendly day in the sun, complete with cheering crowds, music and an all-day snack bar featuring hamburgers, hot dogs and lots of treats.
