BLVD: This one's a little different, but a fun idea: BLVD is offering private "Sip and Shop" parties for up to 15, where they will close the store for you and your group, provide food from Un Caffe Altamura, style you from head to toe, wrap up your gifts, and hand deliver them if needed. Culture Brewing: Culture Brewing has a wide-open gallery-style space that is perfect for parties, plus a large outdoor patio. Fill out an event request form to inquire about availability.

Esperanza Cocina de la Playa: Esperanza will host holiday events ranging from intimate gatherings to a full venue buyout (in an international award-winning space). Contact [email protected] or call Kyla at 424-422-0057.

Love & Salt: Love & Salt hosts private events in its wine cellar, which seats up to 16 guests. The restaurant offers family-style service, along with an extensive wine list and craft cocktails. See the events menu and fill out an inquiry form to reserve.

Manhattan House: Manhattan House has private dining options including the main room (100 standing; 85 seated) or the chef's table and bar (30 standing, 18 seated). The team can arrange anything from an elegant cocktail party with passed food, to a formal sit down dinner, to a more casual buffet or family style event. Shade Hotel: Shade offers holiday parties of all sizes. When booking your party, choose from one of the following amenities: Welcoming sparkling wine upon arrival, holiday cookie display, $150 Zinc@Shade gift certificate, a gift certificate for a Sunday night stay, or $1,000 off the minimum spend amount for food and drink. Slay Steak & Fish House: Slay is booking for the holidays now, whether you are planning an intimate lunch, dinner, or private company event. Holiday reservations and requests for private events are available online. Email [email protected] for any questions.

The Strand House: The Strand House and StrandBar, with unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, can host anything from a business dinner for 12, to a wedding reception for 150, and everything in between.
