Watch the Oscars Like A Star At Shade Hotel

Looking for Oscar glamour here in Manhattan Beach? Shade Hotel promises to deliver Hollywood-style glitz at its Oscar viewing party on Sunday from 4:00 to 11:00 p.m.
The party will feature a red carpet, "paparazzi," and food and drink options based on what the stars will eat at the Governor's Ball.
Upon arrival, each guest will be assigned the name of a star who is up for an award. If your star wins an Oscar, you'll go home with one too.
Guests are also encouraged to "dress like a star" for the party. "Everybody needs a good time to pull out the fancy suit and the fancy dresses," said Eric Custis, food and beverage director at Shade Hotel's Zinc restaurant.
Admission is free but table reservations are highly recommended for a good view. Table reservations require a $250 minimum purchase for a four-top and a $500 minimum purchase for an eight-top. To reserve a table, call (310) 469-3466.
