Founded in 2015, and modeled after the very successful City of Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, MBFF is the primary source for private financial support to the Manhattan Beach Fire Department. By working closely with Manhattan Beach Fire Chief Bob Espinosa and the Manhattan Beach Firefighters’ Association, MBFF’s goal is to enhance and sustain the level of excellent service provided by the Manhattan Beach Fire Department. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness for the foundation, while simultaneously raising funds for additional equipment our first responders depend on.
