Shakespeare by the Sea: Othello
Audience members are encouraged to bring a picnic, low back beach chairs and blankets and enjoy a moving romp under the stars at Polliwog Park, 1601 Manhattan Beach Boulevard, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. These performances are open seating and free to the public. There are no dogs, barbecues or wheeled vehicles allowed at any time in the performance area. Your cooperation to keep our parks clean is appreciated.

An emotionally gripping thriller, where gossip turns friendships rancid, and rumor brutally murders innocence. Othello is as unflinching in its power as it is in its heartbreak.
Shakespeare by the Sea
Shakespeare by the Sea (SBTS) is a nonprofit organization that was launched in 1998 by Producing Artistic Director Lisa Coffi. Their mission is to enrich the lives of individuals, youth and their families in diverse communities. Since its inception, SBTS has grown into a mid-sized arts organization that is an integral part of the San Pedro and South Bay communities.
