This year the City of Manhattan Beach Department of Parks and Recreation celebrates 75 years of service to the Community. The Department of Parks and Recreation provides the residents of this beautiful beach-side community with access to facilities for self-directed and organized recreation in all its forms. Along with outdoor space to play and exercise, it provides access to the serenity and inspiration of nature. The dedication to serving the community allows for special connections, human development, with an emphasis on wellness, the arts and lifelong learning.
