Local attorney and author David Casterline will discuss his historical fantasy novel, And The Hills Replied at {pages}. His pen name is taken from an ancestor on his mother's side who published a family record of her descent from King Robert I of Scotland. "And The Hills Replied" is a debut novel that begins with a fifty-eight year old man’s strange encounter during a 2005 vacation in Scotland to pay homage to his ancestors. He stumbles upon a missing link in his genealogy. The discovery of letters written in 1939 by one of his relatives is the beginning of this whirlwind adventure that is a magical mixture of Scottish mythology and time travel.
