Call for Artists: Why I Heart Manhattan Beach Art Exhibition

The Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department's Cultural Arts Division is looking for artists of all ages to submit their entries for the 2017 Why I Heart MB art exhibition. Theme: Original artwork that depicts what people love about Manhattan Beach Exhibition Dates: February 21 through March 16, 2017 Exhibition Location: Manhattan Beach City Hall, 1400 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 Entry Rules: Artists of all ages who are Manhattan Beach residents, students attending a Manhattan Beach school, or enrolled in a Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation art class can participate. Limit 1 submission per artist. Artwork can be in any 2-dimensional medium, and no more than 2 feet by 2 feet in size. The exhibition theme is, “What people love about Manhattan Beach,” and submissions should reflect this theme. This will be a juried show. Submission of artwork does not guarantee that it will be physically exhibited at City Hall. All submissions will be displayed in digital format on the city’s website. DEADLINE: January 24, 2017. All entries must be received by this date, no exceptions. LATE WORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
