Are you looking for that special dog or cat to make your family complete? This could be your weekend, as BOBS from Skechers hosts its first dog and cat adoption at its Manhattan Beach store.

BOBS from Skechers, along with its partner Petco Love, will feature cats and dogs that are available for adoption from Los Angeles Animal Services at the Skechers BOBS for Dogs store (228 Manhattan Beach Blvd.) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on September 25 and 26.

The event will be the first in a series of adoption events planned for the Skechers BOBS for Dogs store with various Petco Love partner organizations to encourage animal adoptions and help shelter pets find loving homes.

The animal adoption series is the latest effort in Skechers’ commitment to help save and support shelter pets through its BOBS from Skechers line.

BOBS from Skechers is Skechers' charitable collection of pet-themed shoes, apparel and accessories. Skechers donates funds to animal organizations through purchases of items from its BOBS line. To date, the company has contributed more than $7 million to save and support more than 1.3 million shelter dogs and cats in the United States and Canada.

The BOBS from Skechers line was created in 2011, when Skechers launched a movement to support children impacted by natural disasters and poverty. Skechers has since donated more than 16 million new pairs of shoes to kids in more than 60 countries worldwide.
