After a long pandemic, Manhattan Beach restaurants have opened back up for in-person dining. But one of our favorite pandemic pivots - the addition of family meals to the takeout menu - appears to have stayed with us. Restaurants are now happy to serve both dine-in and take-out customers - and many places are still offering family meals as an easy-to-order option.

Note that in most cases (although we've tried to specify), these meals serve four to six people.  If you're serving a bigger crowd, many places offer a catering menu, but we generally have not included those here.

Also note: Just for this weekend (4th of July weekend), Tin Roof Bistro ($200 BBQ package), The Arthur J ($150 Baby Back Ribs Family Meal), and MB Post ($125 Fried Chicken Family Meal) are offering 4th of July family meals to go.

Ameci Pizza and Pasta Manhattan Beach - Order family-sized pasta dishes from Ameci (serves 3-4) starting at just $13.99. Order online under "Family Meals."

California Pizza Kitchen - CPK offers your choice of a (generously sized) dinner for two or four. Make your choices from the pizza and pasta selections; plus you get a salad and a baguette with dipping oil. Dinner for two is $25 and dinner for four is $45. Order online or call 310-796-1233.

Lido di Manhattan - Lido offers a family meal that serves four to six for $65. You get to choose from one salad, one flatbread, two pastas, and one dessert. Olive Garden - The Olive Garden lets you choose between a bake-at-home or a ready-to-eat family meal.
