They're artistic, original, scary, and even downright adorable: The entries from the 2020 Downtown Manhattan Beach Pumpkin Contest are now posted online.

You can vote for your favorites between now and October 31 at the Pumpkin Decorating Contest voting page.

The categories include Best Kids Creation (10 and under), Good Enough To Eat, Most Artistic, Most Original, Scariest, and Local Love for Manhattan Beach.

Winners will be announced in the first week of November. The prizes include gift cards from local downtown businesses.

The contest was created by the Downtown Manhattan Beach Business and Professionals Association and the Manhattan Beach Department of Parks and Recreation to bring "much-needed festivity" to the weekend of what would have been the World Famous Pumpkin Races.
