Roundhouse Aquarium Announces 'Virtual' Fun Run

Runners at the start of the 2017 Fun Run for the Oceans. This year's race will be virtual - Run at your own time and your own place.
The Roundhouse Aquarium has announced its 8th Annual Fun Run for the Oceans - and this year, it's virtual.
Runners can run or walk the popular 5K run anywhere they choose, and then upload their time. Runners can register to run solo or as a team to raise critical funds to support the Roundhouse Aquarium.
Registration for the 5K Virtual Fun Run for the Oceans is $30. which includes a special gift; or
$42.95, which includes a limited edition t-shirt for the first 100 registrants.

There will also be a live virtual event on October 10 at 9:30 a.m. so runners can celebrate the 5K together.
Additionally, there will be a raffle held virtually with a range of valuable prizes. Raffle tickets are available for purchase here - a single ticket for $10 or six for $50. See the current list of prizes here.
Funds raised will help care for the marine animals at the Roundhouse Aquarium and fuel the aquarium's science-based education programs. These programs teach people of all ages about the ocean virtually through the aquarium's distance learning programs. The programs will continue in person when visitors are allowed to return to the aquarium.
