Shopping for the holidays? We've got some fun and unique items for you by way of the Mira Costa High School booster clubs (sponsored by the MB/X Foundation). Take a look! You might find just the right gift for that hard-to-shop-for person on your list. Plus, you'll be helping student groups at the same time.
See's Candies: Who wouldn't love a gift of See's chocolate? The Mira Costa softball team is selling See's candies for the holidays. Choose from a variety of different boxes but get your order in by December 2.
Super Plush Lambswool Wrap: Stay warm on a chilly day (or night) in the stands with this super-plush forest green Mira Costa wrap, benefiting the boys' lacrosse team. The wrap is $50; other items are available in the Mira Costa boys' lacrosse store.
Mira Costa Slides: Support the Mira Costa boys' basketball team by buying a pair of these Mira Costa logo slides. The slides come in three different styles and a full range of sizes. You can order them for $35 per pair.
Baseball Bucket Hat: Everyone loves a good bucket hat, and this one's especially good-looking in forest green with a Mira Costa baseball logo. The bucket hat is $25, and there's a variety of other baseball swag available at the Mira Costa Baseball store.
Ice Hockey Hoodie: Show your support for the Mira Costa ice hockey team with these cozy hoodies. They're available in white or black for $30. Visit the Mira Costa ice hockey store for t-shirts, hats, and more.

Last but not least, if you're looking to make a lasting contribution in MBUSD classrooms and beyond, consider a gift of any size to the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation (MBEF). (Hint: It's a great choice for Grandma and Grandpa!)
Note: The MB/X Foundation sponsors Mira Costa booster clubs and their efforts to
raise money in support of of their athletic and extracurricular activities. Donations
received are directed to the booster club. MB/X is recognized as a Section 501(c)3 organization, and as such,
donations received are deductible to the extent allowed by law.
The Manhattan Beach Education Foundation raises money to improve Manhattan Beach public schools. It
pays for teachers and other educators whose positions the state of
California does not fund or require but local parents and educators
consider necessary for a quality education. The grants, over $6 million annually, amount to approximately 8 percent
of the school district’s budget and pay for more than 75 educators. The Manhattan Beach Education Foundation is a California non-profit,
public benefit corporation that is recognized as a Section 501(c)3 organization. All donations are
tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
