Bite At the Beach to Feature Restaurants and Craft Brewers

This year's Bite at the Beach summer food and drink festival promises to be better than ever, with more than 40 local restaurants and craft brewers.

"It's a summer 'must' for anyone who wants to have a unique experience in Manhattan Beach," said Kelly Stroman, president and CEO of the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce, the host of the event.

The event will be held on Sunday, August 10 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on the New York Street backlot at the MBS Media Campus. Tickets are $55 for regular admission (from 3:00 to 6:00) and $75 for VIP admission (entrance at 2:00 p.m.). Parking at MBS Media Campus is $10 per vehicle; ride-sharing services are strongly recommended. (Note that this is a 21 and over event.)

Participating restaurants include Abigaile, BOA, Down South Treats, Gelato & Angels, Jute Coastal Bar & Kitchen @ westdrift, Le Pain Quotidien, Lido di Manhattan, Little Sister, Locale 90, Manhattan House, Mercado, Mezontle Mexican Grill, Mother's Market & Kitchen, Mykie's, Petros, Rock'N Fish, Sausal, Second Story Restaurant, Simmzy's, Snow Monkey, The Deck, Urban Plates, and zinc @ shade.

Beverage companies include Bootlegger's Brewery, Boxed Water, BrewCo, Common Space Brewery, Culture Brewing Co, Diageo Beer Company, Harmless Harvest, Hermosa Brewing Company, Jiant Kombucha, King Harbor Brewing Co., Los Angeles Ale Works, North Coast Brewing Co., PRP Wine International, Rekorderlig, Rock & Brews, Santa Monica Brew Works, Scholb Premium Ales, Strand Homebrewers Club, The Brewery at Abigaile, Two Guns Espresso, Uncorked, and Ximix Craft Exploration Co.

Other experiences include HumanLandscapers, Mark Paskell Entertainment, Lettuce Grow Farmstand, and Photo Fund App. Entertainment will be provided by Vox DJs, LA Kings Virtual Reality Experience, Bailey and the Ice Crew, live music from The Lucky Ones, games, magicians, dancing, and other activities.

Sponsors include MBS Media Campus, Manhattan Village Mall, Chevron, Waste Management, SoCal Gas, LAX, On Location Marketing, Vox DJs, and Manhattan Beach Toyota. 

Last year's sold-out Bite at the Beach event drew 700 people.
