Ready for another amazing summer weekend in Manhattan Beach? Check out all there is to offer for the weekend of July 19-21.

Friday, July 19

USA National Beach Tour Junior Championships: Beach volleyball will be going on all weekend at the beach for the 2019 USA National Beach Tour-Junior Championships. Girls and boys teams in the 12-and-under and 16U divisions will compete July 18-20. Teams in the 14U and 18U divisions will compete July 21-23. Come on down and see the volleyball stars of the future; admission is free. All day Friday through Tuesday on the south side of the Manhattan Beach Pier.

Manhattan Beach Badminton Club International Junior Tournament: The Manhattan Beach Badminton Club will host the Wes Schoppe Memorial Junior International Tournament on Friday through Sunday. 11:00 a.m-7:00 p.m. Friday; 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Saturday; 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Manhattan Beach Badminton Club.

Classic Rock at Hennessey's: The classic rock band Frankly Speaking will play at Hennessey's on Friday night. Come enjoy dinner and drinks while rocking out to the classics. 9:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. at Hennessey's Tavern.

Saturday, July 20

Stomping Grounds "Future Legends Music Experience": Stomping Grounds is a music and art festival that celebrates, supports and provides teen musicians and artists the opportunity to showcase their talent. The festival aims to provide a positive, creative and professional environment for youth to express and develop their musical and artistic talents. This event will feature music, art, activities, and game booths as well as food and giveaways. Noon until 8:00 p.m. at the Manhattan Beach Art Center.

White Light, White Night After Party: Are you going to the annual White Light, White Night party at Continental Plaza in El Segundo? Join fellow party goers at an after party at Zinc@Shade. For every cocktail ordered using Tito's Vodka, Zinc@shade and Titos will donate a dollar each to Walk With Sally to help fund another friendship. 9:00 p.m. until midnight at Zinc @ Shade.

Sunday, July 21

58th Annual Manhattan Beach Grand Prix: The 58th running of the Chevron Manhattan Beach Grand Prix bicycle race is put on by the SouthBay Wheelmen bicycle club and features nine adult bicycle races culminating with the men's and women's pro races that are also the California State Championships. There are also kids' races and the popular Kids Zone area with games, treats, and fun for children ages 2 to 12 (also sponsored by Chevron). 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Live Oak Park.

The Manhattan Mile: Celebrate the Manhattan Grand Prix with the return of the coveted “Manhattan Mile” running event. The Manhattan Mile is a net-downhill race that will start and finish at Live Oak Park. All participants receive a commemorative run t-shirt, plus there will be chip timing, $5,500 in potential cash awards to the top three overall male and female finishers, and awards to the top three male and female finishers in each age division. Register online here ($30 per entry). Noon to 12:30 p.m. at Live Oak Park

"The Lucky Ones" Concert in the Park: Sunday's free concert at Polliwog Park features the band "The Lucky Ones." Formed in 2013 Adam Lawson, Daniel Vos and Alonso Vargas banded together over a mutual love of all things music. Unique harmonies, interesting melodies, and riffs ring with elements of Jack Johnson, Steele Pulse, Jason Mraz and Slightly Stoopid, providing something for all music lovers to enjoy. 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Polliwog Park.
