Weigh In on Polliwog Park Designs

May 15, 2019 04:28PM ● By Jeanne Fratello
Do your kids love playing at Polliwog Park? Now's the chance to have a say in what the future playground design might look like.

Given that the playground equipment at lower Polliwog Park is due for replacement, the city of Manhattan Beach is asking for help in choosing a design that will "reflect our community and provide the most creative and innovative play opportunities for our children."

Four companies have submitted proposals for consideration: Great Western, Kompan, Miracle Playground, and RecWest.

To begin giving feedback, visit the survey landing page. You may take the online survey or respond by email. The city will collect responses through May 23.

Based on input received from around the city, final recommendations and preliminary designs will be presented before the Parks and Recreation Commission on May 28.
