Mira Costa High School's top student artists have not one but two upcoming nights for you to enjoy their artwork.

On Friday, May 3, Mira Costa Visual Art Department will hold its 19th annual All Media Show for students' "best-of-the-best" portfolio works. The show will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Resin Studio, located at 618 Cypress Ave. in Hermosa Beach.

This all-star showcase event is free and open to the public.

On Saturday, May 4, the art department and the 9X12Fund will hold an inaugural fundraising event from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., also at Resin Studio.

The event, titled 9X12, will feature student art from the previous night's exhibit as well as 9"x12" art created specifically for the event. Local artists, student artists, and community members have joined together to create these one-of-a-kind pieces, which will be available for sale the night of the event for $100.

Pre-sale tickets for admission to the event cost $40 per person. Admission will include beer, wine, cocktails, food, and entertainment. The tickets - and an opportunity to buy the art for $100 - are available at www.funddeed.com/projects/9x12
