Have you tried jumping with Kangoo Jumps? Has your tot tried yoga? Has your tween tried mindfulness and meditation? Now's your chance to give something new a try - for free - during Beach Cities Health District's Free Fitness Series.

The Free Fitness event lasts from February 25 through March 3, when a variety of local studios and gyms will be offering free fitness classes for all ages and fitness levels.

Opportunities in Manhattan Beach include Kangoo Jumps (a exercise class where participants wear special spring-loaded jumping shoes) at the Manhattan Beach Pier, kids' yoga at The Well Fitness Studio, and kids' sports classes at AdventurePlex.

Other opportunities in Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach include cardio barre classes, spinning, Jiu Jitsu, Pilates, dance, body sculpting, and more.

The Free Fitness program was designed by Beach Cities Health District in 2015 to introduce people of all income and ability levels to a variety of workout offerings, including yoga, Zumba, dance, martial arts, strength training and more. All told, this year’s lineup consists of more than 70 diverse classes.

For the full list of activities - and for registration information - see the Beach Cities Health District's Free Fitness Series page.
