It's time for the annual dineL.A. Restaurant Week, which means it's a great time to dine out in Manhattan Beach. This year's restaurant festival is featuring seven Manhattan Beach eateries.

During Restaurant Week, restaurants offer special prix-fixe menus for dinner and/or lunch. While the regular menu is also available, the special Restaurant Week menus often feature new or unique dishes, perfect for tasting something new. No special tickets are required but advance reservations are strongly recommended.

Featured Manhattan Beach restaurants include:

Fishing With Dynamite ($25 lunch or $59 dinner) - with items including a raw bar platter, hiramasa sashimi, and Maryland blue crab cakes. Fishing with Dynamite's famous key lime pie is offered for dessert at both dinner and lunch.

Il Fornaio ($25 lunch or $49 dinner) - choices include a minestrone soup, a grilled free-range chicken breast with spicy peperoncino sauce, and a butternut squash pasta.

JUTE Coastal Bar and Kitchen  (the restaurant at Westdrift Hotel) ($49 dinner) - featuring soy glazed halibut, IPA braised short ribs, and a "turf and turf" option with a medley of vegetables.

Little Sister ($25 lunch or $49 dinner) - choices include Balinese fried meatballs, Laotian chicken "larb gai," and shaky shaky beef.

Rock'n Fish ($25 lunch or $39 dinner) - featuring Chef Alex's favorite Tahitian ahi tuna salad, as well as New Orleans BBQ shrimp and Memphis-style oak-grilled BBQ pork ribs.

The Strand House ($35 lunch or $59 dinner) - with choices including Peruvian yellowtail crudo, the vegetable tagine, and classic favorites such as seared Hokkaido scallops. Note that one of the dessert choices is "PBJ Popsicle" - a peanut butter and strawberry ice cream/cake mashup.

Zinc @ Shade ($20 lunch or $29 dinner) - featuring sweet chili drumettes, a gluten-free veggie burrata bowl, and a black-bottom chocolate pot de creme for dessert.

Prices listed do not include beverages, taxes, or gratuity. The dineL.A. event runs through January 25, including weekends.

Presented by the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board, dineL.A. is a 15-day dining event that takes place twice a year and showcases Los Angeles as a premier dining destination while highlighting the diversity of culinary experiences L.A. has to offer. More than 400 restaurants are participating in this year's event.
