Ely-Smartt 75th Anniversary Mural Unveiled

A new mural graces the side of the Baskin Robbins in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Ely-Smartt building.
A landmark anniversary calls for a landmark mural - which is why a new Manhattan Beach mural marks the 75th anniversary of a shopping center at 10th and Sepulveda.
The building, which houses Baskin-Robbins, Montage Boutique Spa, El Gringo Mexican Restaurant, and Barsha Wines and Spirits, is known as the Ely-Smartt building after its founders, the Ely and Smartt families.
The mural by artist Kevin Anderson was unveiled on Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting celebration and a Champagne and cider toast.
