Leather Christmas Tree Ornaments: Have you ever crafted with leather? Now's your chance to give it a try with this fun and easy workshop for all ages at the Manhattan Beach Farmers Market with Right Tribe. Workshops will be held at 12:30 and 3:30 on December 11.

Paint 'N Pour Fundraiser: Sip some wine while you paint a masterpiece, at a Paint 'N Pour workshop to raise funds for the Mira Costa High School Orchestras. Tickets are $52. Holiday Succulent Wreaths: Decorate your home with a unique, handmade wreath, filled with dramatic succulents. Because of their resistance to drought, succulents are the perfect living plant for your holiday wreath. At this workshop at the Manhattan Beach Art Center, you'll assemble a wreath with succulents, grape vines and other decorative elements while learning how to care for and propagate succulents. All materials and plants are included in the $99 cost of this city-sponsored workshop ($109 for non-residents). Aimed at ages 16 and up. Workshop will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on December 15.

Arctic Slime: Learn to make, and take home, your own arctic snow slime at this free workshop at the Manhattan Beach Library. Instructors will also discuss how, and why the ingredients turn into slime. Aimed at ages 5 to 12. Workshop will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on December 20.
