Bella Beach Girls to Celebrate Grand Opening

Jul 23, 2018 11:19AM ● By Jeanne Fratello
The new Bella Beach Girls store at 227 Manhattan Beach Blvd. will celebrate its grand opening on Wednesday, July 25 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. with raffles, giveaways, and more.

Additionally, 10 percent of all sales from the day will be donated to the Mira Costa High School girls' beach volleyball team.

"We are very excited to be bringing a store dedicated to tween girls to Manhattan Beach," said Bella Beach owner Kris Mackerer D'Errico. "It was the natural progression and expansion of Bella Beach Kids."

The store, geared toward girls ages 7 to 16 and up, will feature such popular brands as PJ Salvage, DL1961, Sally Miller, Spiritual Gangster, and Havaianas.

D'Errico added, "We will be introducing many new brands to this store - everything from athleisure, swimwear, dance wear, communion dresses, casual wear, denim shorts and skirts, t-shirts, dresses for parties/dances, to great gift ideas for birthdays. We are also increasing our lounge wear: fun pajamas, sleep masks, blankets and pillows. It’s going to be the go-to store for girls in the South Bay."

Bella Beach Girls replaces the Bella Beach womens' store, which closed last month. The new store (at 227 Manhattan Beach Blvd.) is located adjacent to Bella Beach Kids at (225 Manhattan Beach Blvd.).

"Having moved here at the age of 10, a few blocks from downtown Manhattan Beach, I am passionate about our local community," said D'Errico. "I remember the stores that I shopped in as a young girl, and want to continue to create those experiences for a new era to help instill confidence and empower young ladies."
