Experience History With Eva Schloss

Feb 23, 2018 08:34AM ● By Jeanne Fratello
Community members are invited to hear from a Holocaust survivor firsthand, at "An Evening With Eva Schloss," on Tuesday, February 27 at Mira Costa High School.

Schloss, Anne Frank's stepsister, is a Holocaust survivor. Like her stepsister, she went into hiding in Holland, was betrayed, captured and sent to Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp.

Schloss
is now a trustee of the Anne Frank Educational Trust and has published two books. She is the subject of James Still's play "And Then They Came For Me - Remembering The World of Anne Frank."

The event is sponsored by the Jewish Community Center and the Mira Costa Jewish Cultural Club.

The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a VIP cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception with Schloss. The main program will begin at 7:30 p.m.

VIP tickets, which include both the reception and the main event, are $125. Premier seating tickets for the event are $50; standard tickets are $25; and student tickets are $10. There is no charge for students and staff of MBUSD, but those who wish to attend must still register for tickets.
