Manhattan Beach real estate has reached a surprising height, according to Manhattan Beach Confidential: More Manhattan Beach homes sold for over $10 million than under $1 million in 2017.
All told, there were just 5 sales under $1M, but 7 sales over $10M, according to Realtor Dave Fratello, the author of Manhattan Beach Confidential.
Additionally, there were 3 sales over $9 million, 4 sales from $7-8 million, 8 sales from $6-7 million, and 11 sales from $5-6 million.
Putting those numbers in a larger context, the median home price for the United States of America is about $230K. In California, it's twice that, with the median price at $461K. In Manhattan Beach, the median home price is 10 times the national at $2,354,500.
