A Saturday stroll through North Manhattan Beach will give visitors a sampling of top local artists and their artwork, at the inaugural North Manhattan Art Walk on June 10.

More than 40 artists will be on hand to display their surf- and ocean-themed artwork on Highland Avenue between 33rd and 40th streets from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Visitors are invited to stroll through local businesses to view the art, and dine or drink at local restaurants. The art will be available for purchase.

The event, hosted by the North Manhattan Beach Business Improvement District, is the brainchild of Manhattan Beach Cultural Arts Commissioner (and longtime supporter of local arts) Jacquelyne May.

May said that the event is projected to be an annual event, but if it goes well it may be repeated over the summer.

Featured artists will include
Brian Boylan, Paula Langstine, Joanna Gareal, Tom Delaney, Paul Roustan. Leslie Sutphin, Janet Soliman, JonBerry, KatyJenssen, Justin Harrison, Janice Nigro, Gary Golding, Kathy Bauer, Dane Capo, Don Adkins, Dirk Weed, Jake Tedesco, Myko Kona, Richard Stephens, David Piubeni, James Egan, John Post, Robi Hutas, Bethan Clayton, Leslee Peck, Emily Brantley, Michele Love, Chick Bragg, Iola Sedligson, Stacy Wong, Victoria Pitzele, Ben Zask, Bob Mackie, and more.
