City Council Elections to Be Held Tuesday

For Manhattan Beach voters, it's time to determine the future direction of the city: Tuesday is election day for three out of five City Council seats.

There are eight candidates running for the three open spots:

Mark Burton, incumbent city council member and a municipal attorney.

Chris Conoway, planning commissioner and architect.

Tony D'Errico, incumbent city council member and business owner.

Nancy Hersman, attorney and planning commissioner.

Richard P. Montgomery, small business owner and former council member.

Steve Napolitano, L.A. County projects coordinator and former council member. 

Joseph Ungoco, strategic communications consultant.

Diane Barkelew Wallace, educator.

City Treasurer Tim Lilligren is running unopposed for re-election.
