Dec 01, 2016 10:10AM ● By Jeanne Fratello
It's a cookie plate that would make Santa swoon: A group of L.A.'s top chefs have teamed up to offer a one-time gourmet "cookie swap," with proceeds benefiting the L.A. Regional Food Bank.

On Sunday, December 4, chefs from each of the six restaurants will be contributing cookies to a collective cookie plate for $15 that will be served at all six restaurants that one night only.

The restaurants include Manhattan Beach's own Manhattan Beach Post, along with Broken Spanish, Rose Cafe, Spago, Sotto and The Bellwether. By ordering the cookie plate, Manhattan Beach residents can enjoy a treat from all of these top restaurants in one place.

The full cookie plate line-up includes:

Broken Spanish (Pastry Chef Ivan Marquez): Ginger-Molasses Thumbprint Cookie with Cajeta

Manhattan Beach Post (Executive Pastry Chef Uyen Nguyen): Chewy Flourless Double Chocolate Cookie

Rose Cafe (Pastry Chef Josh Graves): Peppermint BTO "Oreo"

Spago Beverly Hills (Executive Pastry Chef Della Gossett): Raspberry Linzer Bars (layers of buttery shortbread with house made raspberry preserves)

Sotto (Pastry Chef Katherine Benvenuti): Pignolata Sicilian Pine Nut Macaroon

The Bellwether (Chef-owner Ted Hopson): Matcha "Rice Crispy Treat" with matcha green tea, white chocolate, and a touch of sea salt.
