On Friday, November 11, at 11:00 a.m. the city will host its 19th annual Veterans Day Multi-Generation Event to bring the community together in honor of its veterans. The ceremony will be held at Veterans Parkway on the greenbelt between Valley and Ardmore.

The Hyperion Outfall Serenaders, the official band of the city of Manhattan Beach, will launch the event.

The ceremony will also include remarks by Mayor Tony D'Errico, presentation of the colors by the Manhattan Beach Police Department Color Guard, and Veterans Day remarks from local veterans. Local scout troops will be on hand to serve as ushers and greeters. All community members are welcome.

A reception with light refreshments and entertainment will be held at the Joslyn Community Center Ocean Banquet Hall following the event.
