MBPD to Host 'Coffee With A Cop'

Oct 04, 2016 12:46PM ● By Jeanne Fratello
Looking for coffee and a good conversation? You'll have a great opportunity on Friday, October 7, when the Manhattan Beach Police Department hosts its annual “Coffee with a Cop” event.

The event will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the McDonald’s at 1203 Artesia Boulevard. No reservations are necessary; just drop in anytime during the 8 to 11 a.m. window.

Coffee with a Cop is a community-based program designed to bring residents and police officers together for a casual meet-and-greet. Members from the detective, records, parking and animal control, patrol, and traffic sections will be on hand to answer residents' questions or just to chat.

The goal of the event is to provide the Manhattan Beach community with the opportunity to have their voices heard, meet members of their police department, form partnerships to address concerns, and problem-solve.

For questions or more information, contact Community Affairs Sergeant Tim Zins at (310) 802-5186 or by email at [email protected]
