This year's TEDx Manhattan Beach speakers' forum poses the question "What If?" with a range of inspiring and innovative speakers.

The event will be held on November 5 at Mira Costa High School from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with an optional dinner at Il Fornaio following the main event.

Ticket prices for the day-long speakers' forum range from $20 for an exhibit hall pass, to $148 for "the complete TEDx experience" including all speaker sessions and dinner at Il Fornaio. Student and senior rates are also available.

Speakers include:

TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to "ideas worth spreading." Started as a four-day conference in California in 1984, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events like TEDxManhattanBeach are self-organized.

The lead sponsors of the TEDx Manhattan Beach event are the Manhattan Beach Unified School District, the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation, and the City of Manhattan Beach.
