Craft brews and great food is all the incentive you'll need to swing by the Manhattan Beach Badminton Club for "Pub at the Club" on Sunday, August 28.

The fundraising event, which will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., will feature tastings from over 35 of the finest breweries and 8 popular local restaurants. Entertainment will be provided by VOX DJs.

The proceeds from the event will benefit the Manhattan Beach Badminton Club's Junior Foundation Programs. MBBC Jr. Foundation is a charity dedicated to developing champions on and off the court by supporting all athletes, including special needs and para-athletes.

Tickets to Sunday's event are $75 per person and include food and beverage tasting, a souvenir glass, parking and shuttle. A limited number of “private tasting” advance tickets are available for $100, which offer an additional tasting of select beers beginning at 1 p.m.

Among the breweries represented will be local favorites El Segundo Brewing Company, King Harbor Brewing Company, and Strand Brewing company. A brew master or senior representative will be on site for each of the 35 participating breweries.

Participating food and drink sponsors include Rock'n Fish, Old Venice, Craft Shack, Ocho Mexican Grill, Fresh Brothers Pizza, Bacari PDR, Rock & Brews, and Nothing Bundt Cakes.
