Keeping your beloved pets safe from disease is one of the primary responsibilities of a pet owner. On Wednesday, you'll have an opportunity to give them the shots they need, at a very low cost, thanks to the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

The City of Manhattan Beach's Annual Low-Cost Rabies Clinic will take place on Wednesday, August 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Marine Park basketball courts (1625 Marine Avenue in Manhattan Beach).

Rabies shots for both cats and dogs are $8. Shots also being offered are the bordatella (canine cough) shot ($10), the 4-in-1 canine vaccination ($15), and a feline leukemia vaccination ($18).

Cats must be in carriers and dogs must be on leash for the clinic.
