Bring your most awkward teen self over to the Manhattan Beach Marriott on Saturday night, and enjoy a showing of "Sixteen Candles" - along with food trucks, live music, and special guests.

The event, part of a summer movie series sponsored by Street Food Cinema, will take place on the golf course at the Marriott. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., Dom Liberati will play starting at 6:30, and the movie will start at 8:30.

Food trucks include Berlin Truck, Best Gumbo In The Hood, Bling Bling Dumplings, Comet BBQ, Market Burger, Sabores de Mexico, Them Balls LA, Union Pizza Company, Deuvo Gourmet Sweets, Drunken Cake Pops, Funtime Kettle Corn, Mercedes Binge, Frank & Grind, Golden Road Brewery, and more.

The evening's host is entertainer and actor Keith Coogan, grandson of Jackie Coogan. There will be a special guest appearance by actress Liane Curtis, who played Randy in the movie.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Street Food Cinema site. Ticket prices are $20 for reserved seating, $14 for general seating, $11 for children's reserved seating (ages 6 to 12), and $6 for children's general seating (ages 6 to 12). Children 5 and under are free.

Tickets may be purchased at the door depending on availability; adult ticket prices will be $3 more for both reserved and general seating.
