Calling all creative types: The Manhattan Beach Department of Parks & Recreation is celebrating its 75th anniversary this month, and its logo needs some color. Enter the logo color design contest by July 20, and you'll have a chance to win a 75th Anniversary "swag pack" and bragging rights during the 75th anniversary celebration.

To enter, download the template or pick one up from Joslyn Community Center, Manhattan Heights Park, or Manhattan Beach City Hall. Drop off your entry at any one of these sites (at City Hall, go to the Parks and Recreation Department) by July 20. The winner will be announced by 5:00 p.m. on July 22.

Entrants are encouraged to snap a picture of their completed design, using hashtags #since41 and #mbparksandrec on Instagram and Twitter, and tag @mbparksandrec for a chance to be featured on the Parks & Rec social media accounts. (The entries must be physically dropped off at the specified locations to count as an entry.)

All entries will be displayed at the Parks & Rec's 75th Anniversary Celebration, a daylong celebration to be held from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Polliwog Park on Sunday, July 24.
