Register Now for the Grand View Gator 5K

Are you ready to run with the Gators? The Murad Family Foundation Grand View Gator 5K, now in its 21st year, is set for Saturday, June 4 at 8:00 a.m. All proceeds from the race benefit the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation (MBEF).
Race registration costs $35 for adults; $30 for kids. If you register before June1, you also have the opportunity to choose a "family registration" for $100 total.
The community event, which attracts "serious runners, joyful joggers, and walkers," has become a popular Manhattan Beach tradition. It draws students, parents, teachers, and community members from across town.
The race begins at Grand View Elementary School, goes past Live Oak Park, runs up the greenbelt, comes back on Bell Ave. nearly to Sand Dune Park, then returns to Grand View.
Race organizers are in need of volunteers to stuff goodie bags on Thursday, help register runners on Friday, set up on Saturday morning, staff the race course during the race, and hand out medals after the race. To volunteer, click here.
