Haute Yogi Launches Series for Tween Girls

Jan 14, 2016 10:06PM ● By Jeanne Fratello
Tween girls: How would you like to move, pose, dance, make new friends, and laugh? You're guaranteed to do all of those things and more at Electroga, a new series offered by Haute Yogi.

Electroga is a 10-week series of fun 'electric yoga' classes in which tween girls (ages 9-12) enjoy yoga and dance moves while building on values of purpose and self esteem. The program fuses upbeat music, fun fashion, yoga, and the 'Be a True HOTI: Hot on the Inside' self-esteem building program. There are even little surprise home exercises and ways to get the parents involved, too, in helping to show these girls just how awesome they are.

Taught by instructor Lori Steele, the program will run for 10 weeks, from April 9 through May 28. The power-filled 50-minute sessions will be held on Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. (girls only; no parents). Tuition is $150 for 10 weeks. (Editor's note - the dates and time for the classes changed after the story was first published and this story now reflects the updated information.)

According to Steele, the class is based upon Electroga’s foundational elements: inspiring value, finding purpose, building self-esteem, expressing one's true self, and developing and maintaining strong female friendships.

"My 'heart song' goal in life is to inspire girls so that they know just how truly important THEY are as individuals," said Steele.
