Here's an opportunity to create art AND memories with your family: Join in the city's free "Art as Experience" workshop on Saturday to create decorative holiday hanging stars.

The workshop will be held at the Manhattan Beach Art Center at 1560 Manhattan Beach Blvd. between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Families are invited to come when they can and stay as long as they like.

The workshop is part of a series of free family art workshops offered by the Manhattan Beach Art Center on the first and third Saturday of every month.

These educational workshops invite families with children ages 5 and up to join in a collaborative art project. They are designed to encourage shared learning experiences that inspire families to experiment and create together.
