Have a 'Blue Suede Christmas' With Scot Bruce

Dec 14, 2015 08:14PM ● By Jeanne Fratello
Does Elvis get you all "shook up"? If that's the case, you won't want to miss Elvis Presley tribute artist Scot Bruce performing holiday classics on Saturday, December 19 at Mira Costa High School.

The "Blue Suede Christmas" event, sponsored by the City of Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department, will run from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the new Mira Costa High School Theater. Concert-goers can look forward to hits ranging from "Santa Bring My My Baby Back" to "Blue Christmas."

Tickets are $25 for general seating, and can be purchased at City Hall or by registering through the city's online reservation system.

Bruce has been called "the closest they can get to Elvis in the flesh" by CNN.

Because of his uncanny resemblance to the young “King” (and his ability to sing, strum a guitar, and swivel his hips), Bruce's live show has taken him across the U.S. and all over the world. As Elvis, he has appeared as Elvis in music videos, commercials, TV shows, and stage productions. He performs at Disneyland on a regular basis, and tours with the "Legends of Rock & Roll - Buddy, Roy & Elvis."
