Pre-Orders:
Cake Bake Shop is taking pre-orders for pies, baguettes, croissants, pain au chocolat, and brioche rolls. Order by Sunday and the items will be available for pickup on Wednesday. Visit the store or call (310) 545-2253.
GROW The Produce Shop is taking orders for Thanksgiving turkeys, side dishes from Tin Roof Bistro, pies from Manhattan Bread & Bagel, and brioche rolls from Breadbar. But hurry - orders will only be taken until 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The orders can be picked up on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday after 10:00 a.m. Click here to order.
The Manhattan Beach Farmers Market is open on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is offering all manner of squashes, fruits, vegetables, baked goods, and flowers to help you complete your feast.
MB Post is once again taking pre-orders for its famous Bacon Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits ($36 per dozen), plus a whole range of side dishes. Sides include Brioche Stuffing Studded with Pork Sausage ($18 per quart); Cranberry Kumquat Relish ($8 per cup); Whipped Garlic and Olive Oil Potatoes ($15 per quart); Turkey Gravy ($12 per quart); or load up on all four for $50. You may also order a Caramel Pumpkin Pie for $28. Orders can be placed by calling (310) 545-5405. Last call for orders is Sunday, November 22. Pickup for orders is at at M.B. Post on Wednesday from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Fishing With Dynamite is offering David's Mom's Cape Cod Squash Rolls ($15 per dozen); order and pick up at MB Post.
Love & Salt is offering a dozen English muffins plus a stick of house-made cultured butter for $36. Call Call (310) 545-5252 to pre-order by Saturday; pick up on Wednesday between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m.
Dining Out:
Doma Kitchen will serve Thanksgiving dinner from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday; reservations are required. Among the highlights on the eclectic menu: a whole stuffed pumpkin with chicken meatloaf and fresh vegetables. The dinner will cost $55 per person; reservations can be made on OpenTable or directly by calling (310) 647-3157.
Il Fornaio is featuring a multi-course traditional but Italian-themed Thanksgiving dinner for $44 ($18 for children under 12). Reservations are required.
The Kettle will serve its "locally famous" Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday starting early in the morning with all the fixin's for $20.50 per person. The restaurant does not take reservations and the regular menu will also be available.
Manhattan House is offering a "Thanksgiving Eve" harvest-themed dinner. The meal will be a four-course prix-fix dinner available for $50 per person and served family style to your group. Call (310) 574-2277 for reservations.
