DACHA, a new home design store in Downtown Manhattan Beach, will hold a grand opening reception on Saturday, November 7 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Small bites and champagne will be served.
The new gallery is owned by retail and design veteran Lauren J. Alexander, who most recently worked as the director of celebrity Interior designer Kelly Wearstler as the director of her flagship boutique in West Hollywood.
"Dacha" is Russian for a country cottage, often used as a summer retreat.
According to Alexander, the store aims to create for its clients an "environment of livable comfort without sacrificing style and luxury." The store offers new and vintage home accessories, furniture, tabletop items, and gifts; and it promotes the work of California-based artists and designers.
Those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org
The store is located at 1219 Highland Avenue, at the former location of Fowler & Moore.
