The heat is on this weekend in Manhattan Beach, and although it may be tempting to stay right next to the nearest air conditioner, there's lots to do to keep you busy!

Locations include Bella Beach and Bella Beach Kids, Bo Bridges, Manhattan Beach Yacht Club, Trina Turk, Gurus Gate Yoga, BLVD, Trilogy Spa, Lulu's Nouvelle, Manhattan Denim, Look! Optometry, pages: a bookstore, Aqua Salon, Margaret O'Leary, Yorktown, Waverly, and more.

Saturday, October 10:

Rummage Sale: The Mira Costa High School Colorguard is holding a rummage sale on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to noon to raise money for much-needed equipment (a Winterguard floor, parade flags, etc). The sale will be held at the First Lutheran Church parking lot (1100 N Poinsettia Ave, Manhattan Beach). You never know what treasures you may find!

Volleyball Tournament: The 2nd Annual 4DK Fours Volleyball Tournament in honor of Clint Clausen

All proceeds go to Clint's four daughters' 529 College Funds, and to subsidized healthy heart screenings offered by Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance & the American Heart Association. Register to play, or come down and watch some top-notch volleyball.
