Football fanatics looking for a place to watch DirecTV's NFL Sunday Ticket have nine choices in Manhattan Beach, according to Thrillist.com.

The best among them (using Thrillist's description of number of screens and who has sound), as you might expect, is Sharks Cove, with some 50 flatscreen TVs, game sound, and specials in shot glasses and by the bottle.

Another winner in downtown Manhattan Beach is definitely Shellback Tavern, with some 17 TVs screening the Raiders (Thrillist reports they'll put gasn in a corner somewhere to watch the game of their choice if the Oakland team doesn't cut it), and game sound.

Two other downtown Manhattan Beach eateries with NFL Sunday Ticket are Brewco and Simmzy's. No game sound but plenty of great eats and drinks!

Two great choices for NFL Sunday Ticket exist in North Manhattan Beach: Sharkeez and OB's Pub & Grill, which are within walking distance of each other. Both offer game sound with Sharkeez being a spot where San Francisco 49ers fans tend to congregate but they do take a vote to see what game will screen on the main screens. OB's institutes a Happy Hour durig any NFL game and features specials.

Three eclectic options in Manhattan Beach are The Castle Sports Bar and GrillGrunion's Sports Bar & Grill, and The Hangar Inn, each a notable "dive" bar well worth an introductory visit, anytime.
