Residential trash collection in Manhattan Beach will be delayed by one day this week due to the Labor Day holiday, according to Waste Management, the city's contracted provider.

Residents who would put their trash, recyclables, and green waste out for pick-up Monday should do so on Tuesday, Sept. 8. All regularly scheduled trash pick-up dates are delayed by one day Labor Day week (i.e. Tuesday's normal collection will take place Wednesday, and on down the line, with normal Friday collection happening Saturday).
