Manhattan Beach Police Department Wants Your Input

Sep 02, 2015 10:44AM ● By Mb News Staff

You can play a part in helping the Manhattan Beach Police Department develop its new Strategic Plan for 2016-2018. The Strategic Plan will serve as a road map, guiding the Police Department in its "delivery of service to the community of Manhattan Beach," according to MBPD.

Citizen involvement is essential to the process to make the Plan "responsive to our community’s needs," said MBPD Chief of Police Eve R. Irvine. “The Police Department looks forward to again partnering with the Manhattan Beach community in the development of our new Strategic Plan."

MBPD will host two workshops to gather community input regarding the new strategic plan, as well as review the progress made on its current strategic plan, which ends on December 31, 2015.

Community members are invited to provide input at either of the two following public workshops (please select one):

  • Tuesday, Sept. 8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., or
  • Wednesday, Sept. 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The workshops will take place in the Community Room of the Police Station located at 420 15th Street.

For more information about the public workshops, call Julie Dahlgren at (310) 802-5118.
