Manhattan Beach Jr. Little League All-Stars Take on Utah at West Regional Tournament

As the Southern California champions, the Manhattan Beach Little League Junior All-Stars play their first game in the West Regional Tournament tomorrow (Thursday, August 6) in Vancouver, WA at 1 p.m. The tournament winner will advance to the Little League Junior World Series, a feat the MBLL team accomplished last summer.
"We won this last year and it's sure to be a battle this year," says Manager Keith Ramsey, who managed last year's team. Three players return from that squad: Merrick Baldo, Dylan Dennis, and Jake Gordon.
"It should be a nice test against Utah tomorrow. Our team continues to gel and play our best baseball at the right time," said Ramsey. "This is a terrific experience for the kids."
After arriving yesterday (Tuesday, August 4), the team practiced and attended opening ceremonies today.
