Got a hankering for fresh bread? You'll want to keep an eye out for a certain big red truck on Sunday afternoon, as the La Brea Bakery's "Breaking Bread" tour makes its way through Manhattan Beach.

The truck is scheduled to stop on Manhattan Beach Boulevard in downtown Manhattan Beach on Sunday, August 2, between 4:00 and 6:30 p.m. (estimated time frame).

At the truck, bread lovers will be able to taste free samples of a variety of La Brea Bakery breads and recipes, including seedless raspberry jam and almond butter on a French baguette, salami and sharp cheddar cheese on rosemary olive oil bread, and a tomato bruschetta.

"At La Brea Bakery, we are committed to high-quality ingredients to ensure only the finest breads and foods for our customers," said Jon Davis, senior vice president of culinary research and innovation at La Brea Bakery. "We've always known bread is more than just food; it's a part of traditions and connects loved ones and communities, which is exactly what we're doing with the Breaking Bread tour."

After leaving the Los Angeles area, the Breaking Bread tour will continue with stops in San Francisco, Seattle, Charlotte, Washington D.C., New York, Philadelphia, and Boston.

La Brea Bakery began more than 25 years ago, when it revolutionized the creation of artisan bread in the U.S. Today, La Brea Bakery offers more than 200 varieties of authentic artisan bread, from baguettes, ciabattas and focaccias, to loaves, sandwich breads, flatbreads and more.
