'Vibrant Living' Open House Friday

Jayne Justice

Is your life vibrant? How vibrant? And, what the heck is "vibrant"?

You can find out more about health, wellness, and nutrition Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Manhattan Beach during Jayne Justice's "Vibrant Living, Inside & Out" Open House. The holistic health and fitness coach is hosting an event designed to help others "feel good," have "fun," and be pampered.

Justice, who is frequently seen on Kangoo Jumps rebound shoes on the Manhattan Beach Pier and was recently on the Today Show discussing nutrition (video can be seen at end of article), practices what she preaches, offering her expertise in preventive health and fitness. Her early experience as a clinical dietitian in a hospital prompted her to take her educational and work experience beyond that setting for the broader benefit of others.

"I love creating opportunities for our own bodies to heal itself," she says. "Proper nutrition, regular exercise, supplements, adequate sleep, and less stress allows us to function at our optimum, ultimately allowing us to feel alive and vibrant.

"Having studied a more conventional style of diets and counting calories, I find that a more individualized approach is so much more effective with my clients. Not only does it allow them to eat the food they love, they also will over time develop the eating pattern that can be sustained for a lifetime, while making the changes our bodies need as we age. I love helping my clients achieve their goals and watch the transformation unfold."

Friday's Open House allows participants to "get to know local healers and coaches that are passionate about health and looking good. I love to host events that bring people together, especially in healthy, feel good, inspiring, motivating ways. We have some great practitioners and products in our beach community."

Justice's Superfoods Workshop from 11 a.m. to 12 noon will include tastes of "cacao truffles, bee pollen, healthy snacks" and will show how to "incorporate all in a powerhouse smoothie that you can customize and make daily." The workshop costs $25 per person, or $20 each if you bring a friend. RSVP via email, please.

Information on the award-winning shapewear Ruby Ribbon Clothing will be presented from 2 to 3 p.m. with age-defying skin care and a new supplement to boost brain health, mental clarity and memory will be presented in "Beauty & Brains" from 4 to 5 p.m. Both presentations are free. Anne De Martini and Karen Slater will make those presentations, respectively.

Reduced-cost one-on-one 45-minute sessions with Justice, including Bars sessions, and Intuitive Life Coach and Healer Carrie Kurtz are available for advance booking for $49 each.

Youth Elixirs and Glow Cocktails will be served throughout the open house.

Justice holds a bachelor of science in nutrition from William Woods University and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Iowa City Hospitals and Clinics.

To book an appointment or get more information, email Justice at [email protected]. The Open House is at 3201 Pacific Ave., MB.
