Restaurant Week Brings Lunch and Dinner Specials to Manhattan Beach

Lunch with a prime ocean view, delicious sushi, and wonderful Italian fare can be yours during Restaurant Week, going on from July 13 through Sunday, July 26.
The two-week event showcases some of MB's finest dining establishments, including The Strand House, Sushi Akatora, and Il Fornaio. Each restaurant is offering a specially priced lunch menu; Sushia Akatora and Il Fornaio also have special dinner menu.
The Strand House lunch menu offers choices of a first and second course, all from your oceanside perch. Choices include a grilled peach, heirloom tomato salad, kale caesar, or hamachi krudo for the first course; chili verde torta, grilled King salmon, veggie melt, and chicken and waffles for the second course.
Sushi Akatora's lunch menu features a first course of Ankimo and Scallop Sashimi Carpaccio followed by a choice of Rib Eye Steak in Yuzi Chimichurri with mashed potatoes and market vegetables; Chef's Chirashi Bowl (daily fresh fish on steamed rice), and Chef's Choice Daily Fresh Nigiri with a Spicy Scallop Cut Roll, and dessert is Akatora Green Tea Pudding with Mixed Berries.
Il Fornaio's lunch menu offers a first and second course, as well.
