Music Rhapsody's popular Babies Make Music class is one of the free classes MB Parks & Rec is offering this month during National Parks & Rec Month.

July is the month to try a class for free from the City of Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department during National Park and Recreation Month.

A flyer attached to this post can be downloaded and includes a registration form and list of class offerings. Trial class offerings include gymnastics, music, art, sports, beach volleyball, yoga, tennis, table tennis, and comedy improv, to name a few, so check out the list and sign up now.

"We are offering a free class to recognize the importance of parks and recreation and how it contributes to maintaining the quality of life," said Stephanei Kou of MB parks and Rec. "Our promise is 'Parks and Recreation makes lives and communities better now and in the future by providing access to the serenity and inspiration of nature, outdoor space to play and exercise, facilities for self-directed and organized recreation, positive alternatives for youth which help lower crime and mischief, and activities that facilitate special connections, human development, therapy, the arts and life-long learning.'”

To attend a class, fill out a registration form and submit it to the instructor when you attend your class.

For more information, contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (310) 802-5448 or via email.
