After being closed since Wednesday due to petroleum washing ashore, all beaches in Manhattan Beach are open after an extensive cleanup effort. The stretch of coastline from the El Segundo jetty just north of MB all the way to Torrance Beach, the southernmost border, was reopened to the public at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 29.
